The Latest Trailer For Total Recall Makes Me Wish I Had Three Hands

It's just under two months until the Colin Farrell Total Recall remake hits the screens and the second full trailer has finally arrived. Boasting plenty more action and special effects than the first trailer we can see that the plot of the new Len Wiseman helmed sci fi doesn't deviate as much as was previously thought from the Verhoeven/Schwarzenegger original. This time around the character of Douglas Quaid (played by Farell) doesn't get his ass to mars which is seemingly the only largely differentiating point from the original as many of the scenes in this trailer are taken straight out of the first film. The visuals and  pacing of the action scenes are impressive throughout the trailer. Unlike the 1990 original do not expect to see such extensive use of F Bombs and innocent bystanders being used as bullet proof vests while blood squibs explode left, right and centre painting the screen red. Wisemans version is stylistically much more similar in tone to Spielberg's 2002 Minority Report which was also based on a Philip K. Dick novel. Total Recall hits screens in the UK and Ireland on August 29th.

I'll give you three reasons why anyone is looking forward to this remake
